RNLI Charity Auction
At the end of January, Mandi Hibberd received a request from an artist asking if they could paint a picture of my RNLI Withernsea photo, to which I agreed.  On the 6th February at auction in aid of RNLI Withernsea was held at Withernsea Pier Hotel, Withernsea,  and the painting achieved the highest bid of £1,000.  Now if that wasn't enough, the winner of the bid then donated the framed painting to the crew of Withernsea Lifeboat Station to hang on the wall at their station.
Congratulation to the RNLI Withernsea Lifeboat Station on your recent engagement.

Top Left Image, is Withernsea Lighthouse this image was taken from a particular point on the beach.  However, many people questioned this image and accused me of photoshopping the image, but once I explained where to go and extremely low tide at Full Moon, they came back with their own version of the image and proved that it was indeed NOT the working of photoshop.
The image below left is Withernsea Beach as seen from Withernsea Mini Pier Towers.
The centre image is one of the Full Moon, taken on a cold February night.

January 2026

Can't believe that January is almost over and what a month it has been .
The start of the month started with a terrible tragedy which has knocked the community side ways and within days they fundraising began, both for the families and for the RNLI.  As a result, Mandi Hibberd created and designed "To The Rescue" which incorporates nearly all the emergency services who attended the tragic incident.
The images consist of (from the top), RNLI Withernsea, Hornsea Inshore Rescue, Coastguard, (below) RNLI Skegness, Humber Rescue and RNLI Bridlington, and not forgetting the involved of Humberside Police, Fire and Ambulance services.

 Hello 2026
Happy New Year to you all and thank you for your continued support, and welcome to the new designed website.
This allows me to showcase all aspects of Mandi Hibberd, being my authorial work, my international photography, or images of the town that I live in, Withernsea as well as my Lifeboat Images too.
So the big questions is where will 2026 take Mandi Hibberd, all I can say, it's early days, we shall see how things progress. But firstly,  today being the 1st January 2026,  we can see the launch of my new book "The Watchers" on Amazon.
Additionally, this month Mandi Hibberd International celebrates three years of being a Getty Images Contributor, and has accumulated noted sales in Norway, India, USA, Australia, Netherlands, Singapore as well as in the United Kingdom, and sales continue to do well on Photo4Me.
And finally, Mandi Hibberd The Withernsea Photographer can happily announce that all the 2026 Calendars have successfully sold out, that covers The Withernsea Calendar 2026, The Yorkshire Calendar 2026, The Holderness Lifeboat 2026 and The Withernsea Biker Calendar 2026.  Currently Mandi Hibberd is placing the final touches to the Withernsea Calendar 2027 before it's sent to the printers.
About Mandi Hibberd

Never in my wildest dreams would I believe what I have achieved today (2025).
It all started in 1984 when commenced work in a Camera & Organ shop and given a camera, a Zenith 19.  Then everything I learned was either tried out in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom or in the resort itself.   After a few years the Zenith gave way to a Ricoh.  However life events changed the direction my photography journey would take.
After leaving school, Business College and University came calling until a personal tragedy led me to cross the Irish Sea, then the photography passion surfaced again. But upon the return to the UK shores having been head hunted by a top recruitment company led me back into the Corporate Finance World. Taking time away from work the camera resurfaced, being a Canon Power Shot A5.
Slowly a reputation for taking those “wow” images for weddings was gained.  It was not long before those images found their way into British Wedding Magazines, soon afterwards a huge article was written about a Sheffield UK based Wedding Photographer making waves in an Italian Based Wedding Magazine, and working for an Italian Wedding Manufacture and this lead to the creation of Fairyland Weddings & Event Planners.
In 2009, life took an unexpected turn and by 2012 Fairyland Weddings had been sold, allowing for another walk down the academic corridors, and the camera was put out to pasture.  By the end of 2015 having up sticks and in a new region, the camera was dusted off and updated for a DLSR Cannon EOS 450 and the photography joined the academic path.
By 2017, now well established in the East Riding, it didn’t take long before my  lifeboat images got noticed and in 2018, Mandi Hibberd became known as The Lifeboat Photographer, now covering from Whitby, North Yorkshire to the Skegness on the Lincolnshire Coastline.
Shortly, Mandi Hibberd’s images became known in the UK and quickly spread over seas only to become a international name.
It didn’t take long before Getty Images discovered Mandi Hibberd’s name and soon invited her to join, which Mandi did, and in return her photographic journey escalated to even further heights, gaining international awards for both her Lifeboat and Landscape photography.
Since 2023, Mandi's work has been seen on Google Featured Photos.
During the course of 2023 Mandi was commissioned to photograph a series of work in Ireland which allowed her to visit different regions (Dublin, Wexford, Waterford, Kilkenny, Clare, Galway, Dingle, Limerick etc) and also managed to spend a bit of time with family and friends.
Also during 2023 time was spent in Scotland.
Withernsea Lifeboat: Past & Present and Withernsea Photobook
During the winter months of 2023, Mandi was in Research mode, and  March 2024 saw the launched of Withernsea Lifeboat: Past and Present, detailing the history of Withernsea’s Lifeboat from 1862, and how a Floatilla sailed from Hull to Withernsea for the launch of the newly installed Lifeboat at Withernsea.
This was quickly followed with The Withernsea Photobook, show casing Withernsea's Iconic landmarks.
Both of these books are available on Amazon, (paperback & kindle)

During the course of 2024, found Mandi Hibberd travelling the Scottish Highlands and the Welsh Valley's.  When back home creating and designing of the Withernsea Calendar 2026, along with the Yorkshire Slimline Calendar 2026 was borne, and saw both calendars available to purchase either directly from Mandi, stockists or online at “My Local Calendar”
As if two calendars was not enough, in an effort to raise money for two charities “Care After Combat” and “RNLI”,  Two further calendars were created.
The Care After Combat Charity Calendar 2026, is a selection of images taken between 2021 to 2024, as Mandi began carving a name for herself as a Biker Photographer, and today is held in high regard in the Biker Community.
The RNLI Charity Calendar 2026, consists of a selection of Lifeboat Images taken between the years 2017 to 2024, ranging from Whitby to Skegness, and showcases some of her finest work, and successfully became known as Yorkshire’s Lifeboat Photographer within the photography fraternity.
As before these calendars are available directly from Mandi Hibberd, or alternatively purchased online at “My Local Calendar”
If creating Non-Fiction books and Calendars weren't enough, Mandi is also a successful novelist, "Killing The Faith", The Russian Professor were released and are available to purchase on Amazon.
